From January to November, the expenditures for general public services in Ningxia increased by 19.2% to 100.08 billion yuan year on year, according to the Department of finance of Ningxia on December 6.

Faced with the economic downturn this year, the financial departments at all levels raise fiscal spending to boost the economy.

The government made the fiscal expenditure a part of performance evaluation for governmental officials, aiming to supervise them to disburse funds.

The government expanded the scale of capital circulation to support the construction of railroads, industrial parks and Public-Private Partnership.

Besides, more funds are used to improve people’s living conditions. Up to now, 73.34 billion yuan has been invested in education, medical care, employment, and other social undertakings, accounting for 73.3% of the total spending.
