The Binhe New Area in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, plans to carry out 80 projects this year with a planned investment of 19.7 billion yuan, according to a summing-up conference held there on January 10. Some 50 of the projects will be newly launched ones.

The new area plans to enhance industries of e-commerce, digital information, cloud computing, e-sports, general aviation and modern finance making full use of opportunities brought by the “Belt and Road” Initiative, “Internet plus,” the 13th Five-year Plan and other national policies.

As for project attraction, the new area will lay more emphasis on its scientific and technological content, development prospect, land occupation and job opportunities and keep pace with the latest industrial trends in multiple ways, according to the conference.
