The 12th China Conference and Exhibition Economy International Cooperation Forum kicked off in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on January 13.

Vice-chairman of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Wang Heshan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He pointed out hosting China-Arab States Expo improved the level of conference and exhibition industry in Ningxia. The conference is highly expected to become a platform for communication in the sector and to enhance the internationalization, professionalization and marketization of the industry in Ningxia, Wang added.

Wang Jinzhen, vice-chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, expressed that international cooperation needs to be enhanced in the sector and Ningxia can learn advanced experience from developed countries and regions.

Being the forum of the largest scale in the sector, the two-day event is attended by delegates from 21 countries and regions centering on the topic of global economic situation and development trends of conference and exhibition industry.
