A wine group from the United States purchased 600 tons of Ningxia-produced Chinese wolfberry wine valuing US$ 20 million, according to a contract signing ceremony held in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on January 20.
The Chinese wolfberry wine was awarded the “most popular Chinese wine” by the Future Shift Group in the US last year. The wine is expected to get the US liquor import and export license this March and enters into the US market, said Song Qingyuan, the board director of Ningxia Jinjiu Bioengineering Company, which is the wine producer.
The wine is expected to enter SOK, Japan and Europe in the near future, he added.
