Four brands of wine produced at the Eastern Foot of Halan Mountain in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region were recommended by wine masters after the blind evaluation during recently held Discovering China—Chinese Wine Development Summit in Shanghai, according to the event’s organizing committee on February 28.

Three worldly renowned wine tasters, namely, Jancis Robinson, Bernard Burtschy and Ian d’Agata, made a 5-hour bind evaluation about 53 domestic produced wine brands and 7 of them won the recommendation from the experts. The honor will greatly promote the development of wine industry in Ningxia as the summit is one of the most significant events in the sector, said Zhang Chunguang, the general manager of Ningxia Xianguxuan Chateau.
