The city of Yinchuan has been approved with targeted construction funds totaling 2.997 billion yuan this year, according to the Yinchuan Municipal Development and Reform Commission on May 4. The funds will greatly step up infrastructure construction and renovation of shanty town in the city.

It is reported that the funds will be invested in renovation of dilapidated areas, improving elderly care services, tourism, integration of rural industries, water supply and heating system, construction of transportation hubs, modern logistics and so on.
