A commodity fair featuring goods from over 30 countries along the "Belt and Road" kicked off at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on May 12.

A commodity fair featuring goods from over 30 countries along the "Belt and Road" kicked off at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on May 12. Some 500 companies took part in the exhibition.

With a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the event includes two sections, namely, the domestic and foreign goods exhibitions, which will last for 13 and 5 days respectively. Foreign exhibitors from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and other regions and countries bring about distinctive food, handicrafts and daily utensils for visitors.

"I came here to promote our brand and try to seek cooperation opportunities with counterparts in Arab States," said a manager of a coffee company in Taiwan during the event.
