The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has built up sister regions relationship with Marlborough in New Zealand, according to a recently signed memorandum.

Marlborough is the largest grape and wine production area in New Zealand and its grape planting area accounts for 62 percent of that of the whole country. The two regions are expected to enhance cooperation in wine and grape industries.
