The China-Oman Duqm Industrial Park was recently established in the city of Muscat, according to Ningxia Expo Bureau on May 30. Some 100 delegates from both sides attended the plate unveiling ceremony.
Connecting Arabian Peninsula with Africa, South and Middle Asia, the Duqm Port in Oman is an important channel for Chinese commodities to enter into the gulf. Occupying an area of 11.72 square kilometers, the industrial park located in Duqm Special Economic Zone is expected to include functions of petroleum refining, heavy and light industrial production, logistics and storage. Until now, the park has attracted 9 projects with a total investment of $3.2 billion.
