The city of Zhongwei in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region will step up the smart city and transportation construction in the next five years, according to a contract signing ceremony held on June 27.

The strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by the Zhongwei Municipal Government and the Beijing Qianfang Scientific and Technological Company said that the two parts will jointly construct a smart city cloud platform, a urban coordinative command center, a urban comprehensive data center, a public transportation digital hub center, a taxi intelligent management center and other projects in Zhongwei with a total investment of 500 million yuan.
