The West China Desert Music Festival will kick off at the Sanshayuan Central Park in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on August 20. Some 20 bands will perform for the audience day and night during the two-day event.

Themed with “Starry Sky over Dessert and Wild Utopia,” the event will present performances at grasslands, forests, lakesides, sun flower fields and deserts during the most beautiful season in Yinchuan, said the spokesman for the organizing committee.
