The GDP in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region totaled 120.372 billion yuan in the first half of this year, up by 7.9 percent year on year. The added value volumes of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries totaled 4.145, 60.521 and 55.706 billion yuan, up by 4.1, 7.3 and 9.0 percent respectively.

The economy in Ningxia maintained steady growth in the first half of 2016, said the spokesperson for the Ningxia Statistics Bureau. Efforts will be made to keep the momentum through fostering new growing sectors and stepping up structural side reform, he added.
