A total of 32 kinds of branded wine produced in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region won awards during the “Belt and Road” International Wine Competition, which concluded in Beijing on October 12.

Jointly held by the Government of Fangshan District of Beijing and the organizing committee of Belgium Brussels International Wine Competition, the competition has attracted some 1000 kinds of wine from over 40 countries and regions to compete. Over 500 items of branded wine produced by 130 chateaus from 79 wine production areas were showcased during the event.

After the appraisal by over 70 master wine critics from 30 countries, the competition produced 12 grand gold awards, 61 gold ones and 106 silver ones eventually. A total of 132 items of wine produced in China won awards in the competition.
