Tourist sites across Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region have presented winter tourism products to attract more tourists, according to Yinchuan Municipal Sports and Tourism Bureau on Nov. 14.
The Shuidonggou Tourism Area and the Nikolya Chocolate Museum jointly held a chocolate exhibition to attract more parents and children. The Mingcui Lake National Wetland Park and the Tanxi Valley Water Park promoted a “skiing and hot spring” joint product. The integration of competitive resources can be promoted and help explore the market, said Lin Jun, the spokesman for the bureau.
Apart from cooperative items, a new skiing track has been built at the Helan Mountain Forest Park and an ice climbing competition will also be held in Helan Mountain. A large-scale Silk Road themed lantern exhibition will be held in Yinchuan this winter.
It is reported that the city of Yinchuan received 10.62 million tourists in the first ten months of this year, with the tourism revenue totaling 9.38 billion yuan, up by 20.79 percent and 18.22 percent respectively year on year.
