The city of Yinchuan in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was honored the leading digitalization city in 2016, according an internet plus digitalization summit forum held in Beijing on Nov. 22. Yinchuan was the only city that won the honor across China.

A total of over 100 innovative cases have been selected since the appraisal work started in June this year. After series of inspection, verification, selection, review and final assessment, some 15 innovative cities and enterprises involving manufacturing, finance, government, medical care, retail and other areas finally won the leading honor in different perspectives.

It is reported that Yinchuan has established a complete intelligent city standard system and realized data sharing among government departments in one platform.
