A total of 21 kinds of wine produced at the Eastern Piedmont of Helan Mountain in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region won gold medals at the Berlin Wine Trophy, according to the awards list released recently. A total of 15 chateaus from Ningxia won gold medals.

Jointly sponsored by the International Organization of Vine and Wine and the International Union of Oenologists, the 2017 session of the Berlin Wine Trophy attracted over 6,000 wine competitors from 32 countries, of which 130 items were from China.
