The industrial added value in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region totaled 14.19 billion yuan in January and February, up by 11.2 percent year on year, according to Ningxia Economy and Information Technology Commission on March 23.

Various measures have been taken to lower the cost for real economy, the spokesman for the commission said. During the same period, the added values of heavy and light industries totaled 11.67 billion and 2.52 billion yuan respectively, up by 10.8 percent and 13 percent year on year.
