At least 18 are injured both Indonesians and foreigners. Police are still unclear as to whether the blasts were caused by bombs or by the hotel's power generators. The pair of blasts were only minutes apart.
In 2003, an explosion at the Marriott hotel killed 12 people. Southeast Asian terror network Jemaah Islamiyah was blamed for that attack.
