The Shanghai International Film Festival was founded in 1993 and is one of the largest film festivals in Asia. It is also one of the class-A international film festivals. The festival is held annually in June, and its most prestigious award is the Golden Goblet for Best Feature Film. The 18th SIFF will be held from June 13 to 21, 2015.
In 2002, the Chinese film "Life Show (Shenghuo xiu)" directed by Huo Jianqi won the Golden Goblet.
