Taishan Mountain

Lying in central Shandong Province and covering the regions of Tai'an and Jinan cities, Taishan Mountain is regarded as the first among China's Five Sacred Mountains. In history, 72 Chinese emperors of various dynasties have made pilgrimages to the mountain for sacrificial and other ceremonial purposes. Besides, it is a beautiful mountain with many famous scenic spots.

To hike on Taishan Mountain, visitors are suggested to choose the "imperial way" - once taken by emperors. The road is found in central axis in the back mountain. On the way, visitors will pass the Central Heavenly Gate, Yunbu Bridge and the Eighteen Bends of the Taishan Mountain. The whole trip takes about four hours.
