This crowning jewel of the Byzantine Empire (built in 537 CE) is rightfully listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is truly magnificent both inside and out. The building is sure to leave an impression. Test the acoustics and marvel at the gravity defying domes which dominate the ceiling.
