A growing number of investments in camping facilities in Sichuan show the increasing popularity of these recreational programs.

Camping site in Dujiangyan, jointly invested by Sichuan Self-driving Tourism Investment Co. Ltd. and Huttopia, a French nature camping company.

Self-driving campers can either bring their own tents or come into the motels, huts or recreational vehicles en route to the attractions, such as Mt. Emei and Dujiangyan.

Once they’re able to take a shower and enjoy a good meal at the camp sites, travelers will soon forget about the toil on road. After their palates and stomachs are satisfied, they can check out several attractions such as outdoor sports and open-air cinemas along hill paths or river banks.

The camping sites include suburban towns and scenic spots, such as Gulin Town in the Old Huangjing Woods and Pujiang County and Xindu around Chengdu.
