Hailuogou Scenic Area in southwestern China's Sichuan Province is the dreamlike gateway to Shangri-La. In autumn, the area looks like a gorgeous painting with a great variety of colors, and the two-month-long red leaf season at Hailuogou has made the place a wonderful destination for domestic and overseas tourists. Located only 296 kilometers from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, the area is quite easy to access. The following are some recommended itineraries for autumn trips to Hailuogou.

Itinerary 1:Chengdu-Ya'an-Shimian-Hailuogou

Tickets:Hailuogou: 92 yuan per person

              China Red Stone Park: 60 yuan per person per visit
