Sichuan is distinct from other provinces in tourism resources. First, it is the hometown of giant pandas; second, Sichuan is endowed with many world natural and cultural heritage sites such as Jiuzhaigou Valley, the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Mount Qingcheng, Leshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area and Mount Emei Scenic Area; third, Sichuan is rich in cultural tourism resources of ethnic minorities.
