The park, which has become a wonderland of light installations, ice lanterns and dramatic projections, highlights 128 sets of medium and large sized lanterns featuring new workmanship and designs in nine areas. The main streets in the city also shine with beautiful light decorations.

A 7,000-square-meter special area--"Romantic France"--is set up at the park to showcase light installations designed by French designers. Visitors will be wowed by installations featuring top attractions in France, including Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum and Eiffel Tower.

Lanterns will be lit every night between 18:30 and 22:30 except on the evening of the Chinese New Year's Eve, which falls on February 7.

During the lantern festival, tourists will have great opportunities to try different gourmet cuisines and snacks, as well as participate in various cultural activities.

The festival, dubbed "China's No. 1 Lantern Festival," will close in mid-March.
