The Sichuan Tourism Media Center was established during the 2016 Global Travel E-commerce Conference on August 10.
The center, proposed by Sichuan Daily newspaper and directed by Sichuan Tourism Board, will integrate online and offline resources of various local media outlets to promote Sichuan’s tourism.
In addition to a website, the center will also use APPs and Wechat accounts to publish tourism news and information.
Besides, the center will also plan and organize promotional events, collect and analyze public opinions about Sichuan’s tourism and carry out tourism projects.
