In the first twenty days of August, the five major scenic areas of Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, Emei Mountain, Huanglong, and Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan received 2.07 million tourists.
Temperature in major scenic areas of Emei Mountain is 21.6℃ on average, attracting many tourists eager to escape the summer heat. Rural home inns nearby are all full.
The average number of tourists Jiuzhaigou received is over 30,000 per day in August, with a daily peak of 38,300.
