With an investment of nearly 100 million, the ski resort will become a Mecca for ski enthusiasts with full amenities, including hot spring spa hotels, camping bases and experience centers for kids.

The main venue is expected to go into trial operation on Jan. 23, 2017.

The tourist area, located in Qianfo Town, Anzhou District of Mianyang City, is well-known for its virgin forests and rare animals, including the giant panda, antelope and golden monkey.

It became a national nature reserve in 2014.
