Song Ming, deputy director of Sichuan Tourism Administration, met with Alistair Crozier, New Zealand's Consul-General in Chengdu, Nov. 29, 2016. The two sides exchanged their views on future cooperation in tourism sector between Sichuan and New Zealand. Song said Sichuan will carry out cooperation with New Zealand in different areas, including exchange of high-level visits and tourists, information sharing, setting up of marketing centers and study on tourism investment, so as to promote mutual development of the sector. As Sichuan Airlines is planning to open direct flights from Chengdu to New Zealand in June 2017, Crozier expects greater cooperation with Sichuan to achieve a win-win result in tourism. Crozier noted that New Zealand tourists are deeply fond of Sichuan's gourmet food, beautiful scenery and the giant panda. [File photo]
