Chengdu-based Sichuan Airlines will launch a non-stop direct service between Chengdu and Dubai on December 17 with two flights per week , Sichuan Daily reported.
The outbound flight will leave Chengdu every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday at 3:40 p.m. (Beijing time), and the return flight departs Dubai every Wednesday at 8:05 p.m. and Saturday at 9:40 p.m (local time). The outbound flight takes around eight hours, while the return flight 7 hours and 25 minutes.
The airliner's current service to Dubai stops in Yinchuan, taking around 11 hours for a trip.
