High-plateau forest expo garden to be developed

China High-plateau Forest Expo Garden, the first of its kind in the country, will be developed at Xianshuihe Grand Canyon National Park in Daofu County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, according to the provincial forestry department, Sichuan Daily reported.

The expo garden, with a planned investment of 196 million yuan, will cover a land area of 135,600 square meters.

The garden will feature ecological landscape, forest industry museum and simulation of high-plateau forest industrial production.

It is slated to open at the end of 2018.
