Sichuan ranks high on 'Beautiful China' list

Sichuan Province ranked 6th on a list regarding the development of all provincial regions in China, moving up three spots from 2015, according to a report recently released by the "Beautiful China" Research Institute under Sichuan University.
The annual report, the fifth edition of its kind, measures Chinese provincial regions in a series of indexes, including ecological construction and social development.
Sichuan is well-known as the land of abundance and home of the giant panda. It boasts a great number of top destinations, such as Jiuzhaigou Valley, Mt. Suguniang and Mt. Emei.
