The 23rd Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival kicked off in Zigong City, Sichuan Provine on January 22.
The festival features 130 medium to large-sized lanterns at the Caideng Park.
During the lantern festival, tourists will have great opportunities to try different gourmet food and snacks, as well as participate in various cultural activities. The festival, dubbed "China's No. 1 Lantern Festival," will run until mid-March.
Zigong plans to host no less than 100 lantern festivals in 100 cities at home and abroad in the next five years.
