Born in China, a 2016 American-Chinese nature documentary film directed by Lu Chuan, premiered in the United States on April 3.

A co-production between Disneynature and Shanghai Media Group, the film features three rare animal families in China: the giant panda, the golden monkey and the snow leopard.

The two giant pandas that appear in the film live in Wolong National Nature Reserve, Sichuan.

During the premiere, the story of the two giant pandas seeking independence and the love of the mother panda for the daughter panda have greatly touched the moviegoers, and the fascinating natural scenery of Wolong deeply impressed them.
