20 scenic areas in Chengdu set ‘free admission day’

Chengdu announced recently the “free admission day” for 20 of its scenic areas.

Eight attractions, including Jinsha Site Museum, Wu Hou Shrine, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Yongling Museum, Wangjianglou Park, Shou’an Chen’s House, and Xindu Guihu Lake, will have their free admission days in May. Another twelve attractions including Chengdu Research Center for Giant Panda Breeding, Qingcheng Mountain-Dujiangyan scenic area and Chengdu Zoo will open for free in December.

During those days, the scenic areas will use online ticket booking to control the number of arrivals.
