Sichuan has 3 more provincial-level forest parks

The Sichuan provincial government recently approved to set up three new provincial-level forest parks: the Gugu Mountain Forest Park, Heilong Lake Forest Park and Wanfeng Mountain Forest Park.

The area of the three new parks amounts to 4809.6 hectares.

Gugu Mountain Forest Park lies in the northeast of Dechang County. With an area of 2720.44 hectares, it contains the walnut groove, the Gugu Mountain and the Monk Peak.

Heilong Lake Forest Park lies in the west of Dechang County. With an area of 1032.454 hectares, it contains the Helong Lake, Shangcaofang Groove and the area west of Dawan Liangzi.

Wanfeng Mountain Forest Park lies in the northeast of Linshui County. With an area of 1056.71 hectares, it consists of the Wanfeng Mountain and the Tongban Groove.
