Yu Liang is president of real estate giant Vanke, China's largest property developer.

The company is engaged in the developing, managing and selling of properties across 56 cities, with a provision of investment trading, consultancy services and e-business. Vanke was first listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1991.

In 2011, Vanke saw its net profit rise by 32 percent, compared to that of 2010, to 9.6 billion yuan, despite government curbs on the property market.
