The historical significance and contemporary value of the October Revolution

I. The October Revolution is a milestone in the process of human social development, opening up a new era in the world for the socialist system to replace the capitalist system.
At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the world entered the era of imperialism and proletarian revolution. Lenin combined the basic principles of Marxism with the concrete practices of Russia, pushed Marxism into the Leninist stage and successfully led the October Revolution in Russia, established the world's first socialist country, and opened up an entirely new path in the development of human history.
The victory of the October Revolution marked the actualization of the Marxist theory of proletarian revolution, and realized the leap in scientific socialism from ideals to institutional practice. It greatly advanced the spread of Marxism and promoted the establishment of a large number of proletarian political parties across the globe. A series of new socialist countries have since been born around the world. The victory of the October Revolution also inspired the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, to achieve great victories in the new democratic revolution, and established the new socialist China. From that time to today, in the great course of the transition from the capitalist stage to the socialist stage in human society, the October Revolution still shines to guide the advance of history.
II. The victory of the October Revolution provides valuable experience for the world's proletarian political parties.
First, the proletarian revolution and the socialist construction must have scientific theoretical guidance. It was under the scientific guidance of Marxism-Leninism that the October Revolution was successful and opened up a new era of human history. We must keep in mind this history and remain committed to our mission, while also facing the future and always adhering to and developing Marxism-Leninism.
Second, the proletarian revolution and socialist construction must combine the basic principles of Marxism with the specific reality of each country. The victory of the October Revolution, the success of China's new democratic revolution, and the great achievements of China's socialist construction and reform have fully demonstrated the importance of combining Marxism with the specific reality of each country.
Third, the proletarian revolution and socialist construction must adhere to the Party's guidance and form a strong core of leadership. The history since the October Revolution has fully proved that, when the core of leadership supported by the whole Party is formed, the cause of the Party can proceed smoothly and the revolution and construction can be successful. We must continue to strengthen the consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, uphold the core leadership, and keep in alignment. The latter two imperatives should be particularly emphasized.
Fourth, in the practice of the proletarian revolution and socialist construction, we must adhere to and develop Marxism. What can be confirmed is that the latest achievements of Marxism in China will continue to guide us to achieve victories and successes in great struggles, great projects, great causes, and great dreams.
