3. Mao Zedong Memorial Hall
Situated at the south end of Tiananmen Square, the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall is the place where late Chairman Mao's body rests. Many photos, documents and other items represent the great achievements of different stages of China's liberation and construction made by the country's revolutionary leaders. There are also memorial rooms dedicated to Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De.
