Striking taxi drivers returned to work on Tuesday in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, after a four-day walkout in protest of two new local regulations. The local government rescinded the disputed regulations and agreed to seek further public opinion. Police arrested four people in connection with a small group of strikers who damaged dozens of cabs that were still operating. |
