Boeing Seals Jumbo Deals with China
US$600 million worth of contracts between Boeing and Chinese companies for the production of commercial airplane components were signed yesterday. The agreement is an endorsement of China's aeronautics technology and manufacturing capacity, and shows China's growing role in Boeing's global strategy.
China Opposes Forced Voting on UN Reform
China is opposed to forced voting on any resolution about the expansion of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that might undermine the unity of UN member countries or the process of reform, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said at Thursday's regular press conference.
